HARIETT is a labor-management partnership/Taft-Hartley fund that provides benefits to both members of UNITE HERE! Local 5 and their signatory employers throughout the state of Hawaii. Current apprenticeship and training programs include, but are not limited to: Facilities Engineering, Operations and Maintenance Trades, Building Maintenance Repairer, Carpenter, Electrician, Mason, Mechanic, Painter, Plumber, Refrigeration & AirConditioning, Upholstery, Dinner and Pastry Cook.
Who Can Apply: Interested applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a High School graduate or GED, or have completed the HARIETT Pre-apprenticeship Facilities Engineering Operations & Maintenance Program. Must not be color blind and shall satisfy the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee that they are able to perform the work and have the aptitude, ability and education to become qualified journeyworkers in the trade.
